Privacy Policy
Widgetto · Last updated November 2, 2026
Widgetto doesn’t collect your data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you put into the app stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, and we never see it.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your looks, widgets and settings, including notes, quotes, countdowns, habits, counters, your to-do list, moods and glasses of water, timers, the people you add to the World Clock and board drawings.
- Together. The names, the day you got together and the photo you set for the Together widget stay on your iPhone. The names and the day are part of your iCloud backup; the photo isn’t.
- Your cycle. If you use the Cycle widget, the days your periods started and the cycle settings you choose stay on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud backup. Widgetto doesn’t read or write Apple Health for this, and the dates are never uploaded, shared or used for anything but the widget.
- Your drives. While a drive is recording, Widgetto uses your location to measure speed, distance and route, and keeps the drive, its route and where you parked on your iPhone. If you allow location Always, a drive can start by itself when CarPlay connects. Drives leave your iPhone only if you export them yourself.
- Calendars and photos. With your permission, Widgetto reads your upcoming events and the photos or album you pick, on your iPhone, to show them on its widgets. It never uploads them.
- Birthdays. With your permission, the Birthdays widget reads the names, birthdays and pictures of your contacts, on your iPhone, to show whose birthday is coming. It never uploads them or keeps a copy.
- Steps. With your permission, the Steps widget reads today’s steps and walking distance from Apple Health, on your iPhone, and keeps only today’s figures there for the widget. It never writes to Health, uploads this data or uses it for anything else.
Your iCloud backup
If you’re signed in to iCloud, Widgetto keeps a backup of your looks, countdowns, notes, quotes, habits, counters, to-do list, moods, water, period start dates, the Together names and day, World Clock people, drives and a few settings in your own iCloud account, so a new iPhone or a fresh install can bring them back. It is stored by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and only your devices can read it. Photos (including the Together photo), the board, your contacts and Health data are never part of it.
Apple services the app uses
Some features ask Apple for information, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We don’t receive anything from these requests.
- iCloud keeps your backup, as described above.
- Weather comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for your location or the city you choose.
- Place names and maps (the town of a drive, the street where you parked, route and parking maps, city search) come from Apple Maps.
Picture collections
The Photo Frame’s collections of art, space and nature pictures are downloaded from nichora.app. Like any web request, this shares your device’s IP address with that server; it is used only to deliver the pictures and is not linked to you.
Shared links
When you share a look or a countdown, the link itself carries what it shows: a look’s colours and name, or a countdown’s title, date, emoji and colour. If someone opens it on a phone without Widgetto, this website draws it in their browser. The site is hosted by Cloudflare; it stores nothing, sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Deleting your data
Delete a drive or a look in the app, or delete Widgetto to remove everything it keeps on your iPhone. Its backup stays in your iCloud, so a later install can bring your things back.
Children
Widgetto collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
